Seems finding the others are easy, just not the clones. Guessing it’s because they only have one corps unit option and they really like some of the specialists (since suppression matters so much with less activations, and the token sharing means they want the free token).

They also have probably the best new weapon options overall.

Does anyone know the new, new, new, new release date for phase 2 clone troopers and Rex? Will it be a world wide release or a staged release? I'm really keen but the constant delays are frustrating

Still just "February". But Rex has been out since November...

Also, the Phase II/B2 expansions have only been delayed once so far- from January to February.

Phase II/B2 and both Tanks are all still listed as February on the 'Upcoming' page, so Officially it seems no...Hopefully the live stream will shed some light on things.

I've heard from some fairly knowledgeable and very reliable sources that the world wide release thing is a directive from the license holder, so doubtful that's going away any time soon.

Honestly, all rumours and announcements about release dates I view as pure speculation. FFG doesn't do the best job at keeping the Upcoming page up to date, and doesn't communicate delays very well/efficiently.

No truth to it any more than any other date out there. I don’t believe any date is correct yet.

I suspect that we haven’t seen the end of delays. Just don’t know which products and how long a delay.

All I know is if ffg promised a date; it’ll be Later than that date.

I think you may be generalizing here. The first 12 months of Legion was probably the best FFG has ever done on keeping their release schedule. It may have fallen to their usual standards lately but they managed to get it right for once when Legion released.

It was when they announced the clone wars and had to deal with twice as much product that they got into trouble.

My bad I should have been more specific. They have mishandled everything since Clone Wars came out lol. I remember their Gen Con announcements and was shocked by the release dates after them hitting it out of the park so long. I pretty much quit X-wing switched to Legion for a few months.

What makes it all the worse is that those first 12 months were some of the best FFG had ever done! Every month was something new and they were so consistent with releases and articles. I love CIS and these last few months have been painful. :'( If it was not for painting and basing I would have not pulled out my Legion for at least two months.

Okay, that I'll give you. Although if you've been playing FFG games long enough even the release schedule for Legion since Clone Wars isn't the worst its ever been.

Clone Wars is in a really weird place - it was super anticipated and marketable (and maybe even encouraged to market because Clone Wars S7 was announced last year), but also obviously it's implementation was still quite down the pipeline when there were several big industry events around to actually announce at. Plus, FFG has been plagued with leaks of non-CW content at very inopportune moments. The marketing strategy is obviously to engage that strong desire for Clone Wars and push it into peoples minds, so they feel comfortable buying up and staying hooked for new factions and letting the industry (including your license partners, and the retailers) know you're coming in strong but that hype obviously has not matched the actual production and release schedule for Legion - the massive holdups on all product lines late last year notwithstanding. But then, they'd still have faced complaints on the other end if they'd held back some of these announcements. People would still demand to know where their product was, and when the next expansion is.

That's what I mean. It's only just now that people are taking interest. Before clone wars, only diehard fans of the OT were interested.

It was in the French leaks. It is likely coming on the 11th as an announcement but there is no confirmation yet

EDIT: I dunno about all those dropping 2/11, there's like 3-4 months worth of product on there, with the second supports maybe being low on everybody's priority list.

If (and this is a BIG if) FFG is actually following the same pattern as GCW, then what should be due out is the first Special Forces for each, plus Commander/Operative, then second Support (which for GCW was Emplacement troopers). Time will tell, and personally I'm taking the French "leaks" with a grain of salt until at least some of them are official confirmed.

It also isn't completely out of the realm of possibility for FFG to announce all of that product if it was an actual leak, to try to get the news out ahead of the leak's spread through the internet (HAHAHAHA). Didn't Iden and Cassian's announcement come shortly after they were listed on a retailer's website?

Agreed. However on the 11th if some of them are confirmed it'll give a lot of validity to any unconfirmed units from the rest of the leak.

If the announcement perfectly matches, then yes. Especially since Padme was on the list as opposed to say, Anakin or Asoka.

It could just be very educated guesses masquerading since it very closely matches the GCW pattern, down to the CIS having a bounty hunter probably Operative.

No. We heard about them (through pretty much the same way as all of the other recent leaks like ARCs, operatives, etc.) 2 or 3 months before they were announced.
