Double Turrets - Where?

By CaptTuleenDonai, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Folks have referred to a double turret markers on either upgrade cards or ship cards, and I recently purchased both the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire (including the Decimator) conversion kits, and I cannot seems to find anything unique on ANY card that indicates a double turret. BOTH of these kits come with those Double Turret indicators for the ships.

What shows that a ship has a double turret??

The symbol next to the attack value defines what sort of attack the ship uses. Compare the Decimator with the TIE Aggressor, for instance.

On the pilot card the symbol it has paired with its Firepower stat indicates the arc/arcs its primary uses. For example the HWK-290s have a single turret arc indicated, a TIE/Ln indicates a front arc and both the Decimator and YT-1300 have double turret arcs indicated.

it's actually two turret arcs pointing in opposite directions. one thing that people often miss is you can never rotate a turret like this 180 degrees, but only 90, since when you rotate, you have to select an arc that was not previously selected.

As thespaceinvader suggested, contrast the double turret symbol on the Decimator primary weapon with the single turret on the JM5k:

340?cb=20180914020602

Or on the turret upgrades:

340?cb=20180529170919

LOL! I certainly wasn't looking there! Thanks! This helps A LOT!
