Times players have made GMs go "WHAT!?!"

By immortalfrieza, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Ok this one didn't make me (The GM) go "wtf" but it did the rest of the group.

Potential Spoilers for Ste's FB3 EotE campaign if any of my players are on here.

So, due to a triggered obligation, one of the PCs has been tailed around town all day, the group have spotted this but not managed to pinpoint exactly who, as there appearedto be a few similarly dressed people. One of he players, a Marshall with a spice addiction, failed a xenology test he'd asked to make (clearly hinting that he suspected a Clawdite, without saying it out loud), so then letting the group know he thought it might be a gang or other shady organisation.

Later that day, they're getting the ship packed up, ready to leave the planet, and waiting for a cargo delivery. The Marshall decides he's going to get high on some glitterstim he'd bought a couple of sessions ago and was saving for some downtime.

Anyhoo, I'd already decided the Clawdite was gonna use the delivery to get on board and plant a tracker on the ship.

So when the innocent looking old man delivering the cargo and the now High as a Kite Marshall cross paths, I have him take a perception check, and he spots that the old man is wearing the exact same boots as the people who were tailing them earlier.

Obviously, being a good little player, he decides to start screaming about a conspiracy and how the delivery guy is "one of them!", then proceeds to launch at him, and starts bawling with the guy on the cargo ramp.

2 other players had to intervene, the Doc sedated him, and the calwdite walked away with an extra 100 creds for his trouble, having already planted the tracker.

From Point of View of me as the GM:

Players: Find an Old secluded Jedi Temple from the time of the Republic after shorting out their Hyperdrive while getting to the Planet.
Players: Roll Perception / Vigilance to find valuable Stuff to loot and my Archeologist rolls 3 Triumphs.
GM: You're in luck, the Temple seems to have a Hangar with a derelict Corvette inside.
Players: Go about searching through the Corvette to find something to repair their Hyperdrive and roll 2 Despair.
GM: You hear Engines outside and after looking you realize that an Imperial Dungeoneering Corp Transport accompanied by a few Squads of Stormtroopers has landed.
.. Fighting commences....
Archeologist: Has the Corvette any Escape Pods?
GM: Yes, sure.
Archeologist: Uses Escape Pods as Missiles to shoot at Imperial Transports, rolling so well that they managed to steer them through the large Temple Gate and outside to actually hit the Transports.
GM: O_o
