I made a grappling struts flowchart. C&C welcome

A situation happened in my vassal league season 9 game vs Paul Heaver last weekend. We were not 100% confident and fast about how to resolve it, but I think we eventually agreed on what should be done. Here's the flowchart:

I used a Starfortress which tried to blow up asteroids left and right, so we navigated through the path that goes to the very bottom of my chart, which can happen when an opened struts vulture starts off in emptiness and lands on a 2nd asteroid.

As I don't want to overly complicate matters, I only include the case where asteroids are involved in this situation.

I'm looking for mistakes and omissions if you can find some.

Other than the misstament of "cannot engage" it's accurate. Ships on asteroids still engage during the engagement phase, they just are not permitted to perform an attack if they don't have an ability counteracting the asteroid's effect. This is important because "when you engage" abilities and effects still trigger if the ship is on an asteroid.

What @Hiemfire said... it's fundamentally correct, aside from that one offhand "cannot engage" statement.

(Interestingly, that is actually a currently unexplored design space: something that would prevent you from engaging entirely. The only example I can think of is more Star Trek than Star Wars... some kind of phase-shifting ability that shunts you out of regular space into hyperspace; a marker gets left behind while you go into reserves, then you are replaced on the battlefield at the next planning phase?)

Thx. for this. Perhaps a suggestion to add that you can perform an action, and potential linked action, in Round 2 when you stay at range 0 of an astroid. The green box after the 'not straight 2' arrow.

Will you further update the graph?

I think its very helpfull in explaining this for newcomers or preople that do not see vultures very often ... hence my comment. I can see some people saying its not mentioned therfore it cannot be done 😉
