Really! Nobody plays in Indy? Gamerz, Game Preserve, Comic Carnivals, Downtown Comics, and others. Anyone...
I will something to my post since we have had lots of views but no posts.
Who wants to play in Indianapolis?
i play in indy, but im on the southwest side and looking for a regular game
I'm just looking once in a while because you're my neighbors (ohio here). I recall a group of people chatting about getting together several months ago, nearer W:I release... check history.
I'm in the game, currently on the south/southeast side. I know a good number of people who are into and interested in the game, just no groups who play regularly. Hit me with an email, [email protected] and I'll try to find a time to meet.
I'm a neighbor as well, down in Cincinanti, but new and looking for people to play with as well. If you ever start to get games together, let me know.
Also, Vermillian, I'm over in Ohio as well if you're interested in getting together at some point to play a game of Invasion.
I have the Core set and a couple of BPs. I haven't built a proper deck yet, but I want to play. I regularly visit Gamerz, Games to Die For, Game Preserve on the south side and Game Preserve up north.
We have a gaming group called Circle City Gamers ( www.circlecitygamers.com ), where we're trying to get the various gaming groups around the city to come together. Most of us are miniatures gamers, but we more than welcome CCG players to join in! I know a few people have posted about W:I on our forums looking for people to play. Perhaps a look there could help.
Hey, there are 2 new players from muncie, we would love to join up with some indy guys sometime.
I live in Avon and would be up for playing sometime. Fair warning though, I do not check this website a lot. If you are on boardgamegeek, I have the same username there and that would be the better place to arrange something. Look forward to hopefully playing in the near future
Looks like there is an interest in the Indy Area. I normally paly games on the south side at Gamerz. Let's talk about a day or night that is good for people. I normally get to paly games once or twice a week. Friday night or Sunday afternoon works well.

I would be willing to drive to the south side. Sunday is always out for me, and I would almost never be able to make anything on Fridays. Monday evenings, Tuesday evenings, and Saturday afternoons would be the best for me.
If a public location is needed, I can talk to the people at Downtown Comics at 10th and Girl School Rd. They have tables set up and I am like 95% positive they would be open to hosting stuff.
If there is enough interest, perhaps we should start small, and organize a tournament and if people can make it to that, and everyone is feeling good about it we can advance from there and get some sort of Indianapolis Warhammer League going, because that would be awesome!
does the downtown comics sell Warhammer invasion?

They have base sets and they have had battle packs in the past. I do know that both Game Preserves in the Indy area (Castleton and Greenwood) sell them, but both stores seem to always be full with people playing minis or Magic.
Anyone manage to get things going for Southside Indy games? Or is it still in the works?
I'm a new player who recently joined a playgroup with a few other people...we've been looking for a group to get regular tournaments going with.
We live around the Indianapolis area...mainly the South/SouthWest side...
Anyone ever work out a place to get together?

I don't think so. I am still in Avon and I would LOVE to play with some other people. I don't know what stores you frequent but I think there are several options on the Westside or Greenwood area.
