There were some issues with the very initial packs of Arkham as well. I had a lot of trouble tracking down Essex county express specifically. And I seem to recall dunwich legacy and miskatonic museum and the core sold out fairly quick too and had similar posts asking about when reprints would occur. It is just as you said though. Demand is higher than their initial conservative forecasts ( even though I’m sure the initial print runs were significantly greater than Arkham’s) and it should iron out now that they have seen some expansion sale numbers just as it did with Arkham and the majority of their releases.

You can pick up any hero or villain and play with/against them. So if they get plenty of Doctor Strange packs in before Captain America gets reprinted, why would you not just pick that up first? I still don't have any expansions, but if I happen to see a Wrecking Crew at a store I visit, it is coming home with me regardless.

Those are both very good points that I'd not really thought out for this game. Too used to the LOTR LCG releases, which incidentally i had no issues with getting packs for even the Khazad-Dum cycle packs.

I guess that I am a bit disappointed that I can't get my favourite Marvel character - The Cap, on initial release.

Not sure where you're at, but if you're in the US check Barnes and Noble. Many stores still have Cap.

FYI, the online store is sold out now. I'm not even sure where I can find a brick and mortar barnes a noble, they all got replaced with Books A Million 😂

Yea, they are moving quickly. Now the nearest store to me with stock is about an hour and a half away.

Well I just thought i'd say that I managed to tag the Captain America Hero Pack at long last! There is hope out there...
