I had not bought the game yet when I went to a launch event last weekend (better late than never) but enjoyed it so much that I bought the core set before I left but that means I am a bit late to the game.

Is there any further news or rumours about organized play for this game? I really liked the comic book cover style alt arts for the core heroes so can see some potential for Organized Play participation items.

Yes stuff is coming. But there are few details. Alex Watkins (Head of Organised Play) recently did an AMA video on YouTube. He discussed it briefly at one point - I dont have the timestamp, sorry.

• There will be regular participation promo kits 'coming soon'
• Story Kits will integrate with the Story/Campaign box
• The comic book cover designs will be released for expansion pack heroes too

Not yet but if you are attending Gencon you can probably count on an FFG and community event or two 😛

Gencon is on the other side of the planet to me (I come from one of those places that spells it "organised") so a bit too far for me.

Totally off topic, but this reminded me of when my family lived overseas for a couple of years (we're American) and I went to an international school administered by the Brits. It was first and second grade, so right about the time that learning to spell really kicks off. When we got back to the States I kept getting docked for spelling and nobody would tell me why the way I learned to spell words like color (colour) and neighbor (neighbour) was wrong. Especially my third grade teacher, who hated me.

I did first and second grade in Bermuda then moved to Canada and then Australia so it was at least consistent spelling from country to country except for the wheels on a car. In Bermuda and Canada it is tire, in Australia it is tyre. That y still irks me.

If they have one and don’t call it Marvel Knights, I think there’s something wrong with their marketing division.

I honestly think the comic book cover style should be standard. You can read everything better on the picture.
