Has anyone attempted to make Konstantine/speed manipulation work with the new RitR objectives? Looks like ground to explore there, maybe. Not suggesting it would be better than conventional lists, just better than speed control used to be...
A need for speed (control)?
I have not, but perhaps after Worlds I can get back to silly lists. I had a Kuat/Interdictor Konstantine build with gauntlets fighters that was...okay.
I had a BTA/Interdictor/Demo list which was okay. The problem with Konstantine is, that his effect is not good enough to justify him over Motti or JJ. You can't even use him with SSD. You can however use G8 / Tractor Beams to play with objectives.
Edited by spike2109I had a list with 4 VSD and Konstantine. The difference was, it was to speed up the opponent, to get him into range of the VSDs.
Would be a good idea to try it with the new objectives as well. But i really would suggest to use an Interdictor with the new objectives. You can have such a big fun, when you move around these obstacles 😁 . Just add Titus, for more control, and you can really mess up quite a lot.

The problem is, that the opponent can just play Nav commands and tokens so there is no effect at all. And he has to be in range 5 so you have already long range on them. Perhaps he needs a buff like you can change speed to 0. Dunno if that is then too mighty for 1st players.
But he is busy in doing navigate this way.
Yes, it is pointless against Comms net and Thrawn. I never said it was a good list 😀 . But it was fun (untill you hit heavy squadrons...).
