If George put out his vision of 7, 8, & 9, would you watch? (let's assume it's released in Clone Wars animation format)
Sequel Trilogy: Lucas Cut (would you watch?)
I literally can't not watch something Star Wars, so yes. If it was a comic book, I might read it. I'm pretty behind on SW comics, though.
Are we talking Jar Jar Binks George Lucas, or Holiday Special George Lucas?
Probably Mortis arc/last Yoda episodes (whills) George Lucas.. can't quote directly, but I believe it would've dived into the spiritual aspect of the Force.

What is that a reference to? Episodes of what?
You know, the more I think about, the more I think there should definitely be room in the canon for a movie (or even a trilogy) about Lumpy and the Force Ghost of digitally-reconstructed Art Carney travelling the galaxy and being embarrassingly unfunny everywhere they go.

With the relaunch of the main Star Wars line right after The Empire Strikes Back , now is a lovely time to jump back.
😇

Morris would be grand.
JJ Abrams and GL mentioned he was going to fiddle more with the midi-chlorians.

(Mortis Arc) "Overlords","Altar of Mortis", "Ghosts of Mortis".
(Yoda) "Voices", "Destiny", "Sacrifice"

Ok, but again, episodes of what?

Clone Wars episodes that dealt with the Force and the various aspects it presents..
If you mean what would this proposed "lucas cut" would be about, I would guess it would be along the lines of these past episodes, in that George has said that "no one would probably not want to watch his original outline of 7-9 because there would be very little action and more cerebral exploration of the Force..."

Jedi Rocks, MacLunkey Lucas
Depends. What IS his vision for Ep 7 to 9?
Similar to what @CaptainJaguarShark said, of it's Star Wars, I watch. (There's been a few exceptions, I haven't seen Forces of Destiny or Resistance). I dunno if it would be good, but I'd love to see it. Also I agree it could be a non-cannon comic, similar to "The Star Wars", a comic adaptation of one of earlier drafts of ANH.
Lucas cut : cut out all of the Sequels.
That would be good.
Edited by OdananLucas in 1980 is and was very different from Lucas in 2000 and is probably very different from Lucas in 2020.
What his goals or interests were at those different periods defines what we got from him.
I frankly don't have a lot of interest in G Lucas as a person. He seems like a nice enough of a person, but I have zero interest in any film or anything he produces.
I wish they would find talented directors/storytellers and let them have a free hand to create something. When someone is motivated and has resources and some credibility you can produce the Mandalorian. How many shows like that could we have had a long the way? What's the ratio of Attack of the CLones, CW/REbels ,The last Jedi and Solo or Rogue One or whatever other productions (however you feel about those - to me, they all represent different types of product to consume as far as scope and message) are we to get?
In some ways, the one-offs may be a better fit for Star Wars. Then if you really like something, make a trilogy out of it instead of trying to create a trilogy from nothing and have to scramble to fill its contents.

I'm still hoping they make an X-Wing live-action series.
I'd LOVE it, if they took the X-wing novel and made movies (or a tv show) out of them.
Yes. If Lucas made a sequel trilogy centred around midichlorians, ewoks, gungans, pod races, and scoundrels that shoot last (or perhaps simultaneously!), it would still be better than what those empty suits at Disney came up with.

Can you imagine Jar Jar running around with Poe

Some would say that Finn, Rose, Leia and Rey played similar roles as Jar Jar in the new movies at different times.

No, they played comic relief, which isn't at all what Jar Jar did.
Given what George Lucas came up with... I'd go see it only because it's Star Wars. But holy s**t it sounds bad.

Poe would probably shoot him.

And there was much rejoicing.
Seriously though, I'm more on board with the prequels than the sequels at this point. The prequels didn't drain their collective hoses over the original trilogy's characters and events for one, and for another (Jar Jar, cringe romance and midichlorians aside) actually told an interesting story overall.
