Is it really so hard for them to include DP and DH heralds when they're releasing a new expansion? Every expansion we daydream FFG would include these in it and every time our hopes gets crushed brutally. Surely they are aware that there's demand for this. And surely they don't care.

Any number of reasons could be responsible, not the least of which could be cost versus demand. Perhaps they don't even know the demand is as great as it is. Or they could be juggling too many projects as it is.

They are a business, after all. A lot of people asked for a second Doom expansion that was pretty much made (or so I heard), but will never be released, so far as it doesn't make good business sense.

Would I like them as official? Sure. Can you play with printed version? Duh. Will I lose sleep over it if they never come out as official? Nope.

Since the Heralds are already double-sided even officially, it's not like you can do a random draw as is, so having them in different size/texture/feel doesn't make them any less usable. Or you can, if you do a "don't look shuffle", but I just roll a die to pick a random Herald.

Will you want them to ship out official sheets of the league scenarios as well?

I don't care for the league. not everyone do. everyone, however, care for the heralds.

How well, I think I don't care too. I printed the 2 said heralds and never played with them.

Come on, it was a general statement. I see a lot of people request official prints in the "next expansion." If FFG ever does an expansion-expansion or an AO/Investigator-only expansion, it would be appropriate to add them. In the meantime, I'm with Dam, if not for just the practicality of the whole thing.

Ironically, I print all my heralds and guardians for the sole purpose of giving them a neutral back so that they can be drawn face-down (this gives me a chance to house-rule Bast and Tulzscha). So, no bother to me

It costs money to print things. Likely they figure the cost to print them would not outweigh the benefits of selling them. They are a business.

If the Heralds were to come out, I could only see them in something akin to a tournament pack or promotional item, a la Starcraft's extra planets. And even then it is iffy, as I'd honestly promote new content unless the heralds were there to support said new content.

Now, a much more likely scenario would be the oft-dreamed-for "completion" expansion, that includes pieces designed to add to the expansions already out there, and round them out. I don't expect that to happen anytime soon, however. (Though I still say they could just print cards with 2 expansion symbols, designating that you need to play with both expansions for them to work...)

Personally I would buy the pdf's if they printed them (Heralds and Scenarios) - I would be happy for them to have no box and have to be sent off for at FF HQ, or else (and preferably) at the distributors at the various countries.

I think however that not enough people would do it to make it worthwhile - I have hopes that it gets done eventually however, as a promo.

Failing that, the idea of an expansion that ties up the other expansions better would be a good place to put in the heralds at least. Although I doubt FF will release that.

I assume they get diminishing sales on each new expansion (although I buy them all )
