Was the entire year of GCW era releases not enough for you?

I don't play, but could almost see myself picking up Clan Wren, but all that yellow would be frustrating to paint. Still, that'd be sweet.

I definitely agree here, but I do hope they don't go down the X-Wing route and release four new factions (two of which were split from existing ones admittedly, but they still only had like 3-4 ships...) within a short time of each others, leading to a drought for EVERYONE and those new factions taking forever to feel complete...

I agree, unless it is to take six months to give all their love to an Ewok army. Then it's totally worth it.

Of course, the first time I read the title, my brain said "French Licks" which could be contorted into something perverse by the uncultured, or brings back memories of spending time in the sprawling metropolis of central indiana

I would think an ewok army would have all whites, no surges B UT always have heavy cover and their melee would probably have Red with surges. Then for specials they would have lots of traps and MORE traps! At the end of turn 1 you start to roll and see which non-unique mechanism or unit of the enemy's you get to control for the next turn to signify the weapons, vehicles and units that you've captured and turned to use for your enjoyment for the rest of the game.

Padme, huh...okay. It will be interesting to see what mechanics they give her. Rather surprised by this choice with so many other character options available and the fact they haven't done Anakin or Ahsoka yet.

I've been expecting them to be like the Deathtroopers or Pathfinders. More elite soldiers. The squad from the old animated series is likely what we'll get. They are going to be the counter to the Bx-droids instead of the Scouts or Rebel Commandos

-4 troopers at base, with a Rocket launcher or Reciprocating Quad Blaster as heavy, and a special squad leader varient.

The combo special forces unit (mix of infiltrator/sniper/demo) is undoubtedly going to be a Republic Commandos squad.

-4 man squad with 2 gear slots for the sniper/grenade modifications.

I don't collect the Rebels or Empire either (was about to, but then CW was announced and I enjoy the CW more than GCW era), but I'm collecting all of the bounty hunters. My wife LOVES the Mandalorians so I will def get them as well...for her of course!

I won’t lie - Clan Wren got my very enthusiastic attention after months of my disappointment about missed release dates. Really looking forward to this... if true.

I’m not a prequel fan, but ep2 Padme might be a fun paint project with my daughter.

I would like to see them develop a Thrawn or perhaps a Gar Saxon and his Super Commandos for the Imperials. For the Rebels, Kanan & Ezra or maybe Rebel Honor Guards to add some spice. In terms of CIS releases, I could totally see Magna-Guards being added sooner rather then later to back up our boy Grievous and maybe Tactical Droids as low cost commanders. GAR would totally benefit from Anakin/ Ahsoka or [insert fan favorite jedi here], Padme just seems a bit off IMHO but points for thinking outside the box.

I received the Clone Wars starter over the holidays, but I’m still not quite feeling the enthusiasm to play with it like I do the GCW. I play both Imp and Reb, splitting costs with my regular opponent while we both switch armies. Admittedly, I’ve bought more than he has, but I have more disposable income than he does, too.

That said, I already dropped a pre-order on Cassian and Iden, and you can bet I’ll be adding Inferno Squad to support their commander! (And, Clan Wren would be good support for Sabine...)
