Hey guys!

With regionals approaching, which one are you attending and what deck are you excited to play?

For me, RandomPerson and I are making the road trip to new York to play. I think I'm bringing a Misk / Agency deck that I've been working on. Only thing that would change my mind is if the Yog deck I have in mind with some of the new SoA cards is as good as I think it can be.

What are everyone elses plans?

I plan on going to NYC as well. If Secrets of Arkham is out before then, well that changes everything, I think... Shub and Yog start to look pretty good!

OK, now I'm feeling stupid. I know there is supposed to be a Regionals at Compleat Strategist in NYC on June 12. But I can't find any details about the event (start time, address, entry fee,pre-registration, etc.). I searched the web ineffectively.

Anyone know where the details can be found?

I emailed FFG about 2-3 weeks ago asking for that info and got a response that the info would be posted on the website as the dates drew nearer.... not much help for the impatient.

WE ARE ON! The Regionals at the Compleat Strategist on June 12th is a GO! Here is the basic details

Sat. June 12th, Compleat Strategist 11E. 33rd St (btwn 5th and Madison)
11 AM - 5 PM, as many rounds as we can fit
$15 per head to play; prizes as per FFG goodie bag for regionals PLUS 20% discount on all in-store purchases that day at the Strategist!

QUESTiON TO PLAYERS: Is the Secrets of Arkham expansion legal? (I would think so). Can you play the new story card deck? (I would say YES if both players agree).

Re: Secrets of Arkham: Spoke to FFG, they would rather not have the new STORY CARD DECKS in in play for the Regionals but the Secrets of Arkham cards are legal.

Is there a standard deck list form to complete (so we can do this in advance instead of wasting time at the store)?

I have hard copy from FFG, but not soft copy. If you do it in Word or Excel (or Pages or Numbers for the cooler among us) send it along and that will be fine.

So I'm guessing we'll see a ton of "Things in the Ground" decks... Which also means we'll see Victoria's Loft decks as a response.....

Ever since the switch to the new boards, I camp out in the General Discusion area. I missed all the pre-game banter over here at Organized Play. Drat. Never again.
