I got turned into a Toad while having a Destiny card - Champion.

Increase your Strength value by 1. Increase your fate value by 1.
When a character rolls a 6 for his attack roll during battle or psychic combat , you may replenish 1 light fate .
You may spend 1 light fate to roll 2 dice during battle or psychic combat and add them together to determine your attack roll .

We got into a debate whether I can

a) gain a fate if a character rolls 6 for attack.
b) use my fate in the battle.

My position was I can, as Toad is not forbidden from using nor gaining a fate.

On a side note - if a character uses a flail and rolls 2 dice for an attack roll. In which scenario will I replenish light fate? Sum of dice is 6 or 6 has been rolled on any of dice?

Hi there!

A toad can most definitely use, replenish and gain faith. No doubt about it.

Note that the destiny says 'replenish' faith, not 'gain'. You can only replenish up to your faith value. (just like you can only 'heal' up to your life value but 'gain' lives endlessly).

The destiny says 'attack roll', not attack rolls, you therefore can't use this ability at all together with the flail etc.
