Legion missing parts if no reply from FFG?

By Genoside07, in Star Wars: Legion

I recently purchased the Imperial specialist for Legion and found I was missing the communicator arm of the imperial officer.

Contacted FFG via missing components on their customer service website, that was on January sixth.. Going on two weeks now,

I have heard nothing back since then and when I check my request it is still marked as only "Received", same as the day I sent the notice.

I've had... 4 missing /wrong parts issues since launch. Each and every time, I received no response, but the piece was in the mail with 3 weeks. Location may determine how soon you receive it. I, for example, am in LA, a pretty easy place to ship to. I say give it another week before you assume anything is wrong.

Plus this time of year they’re probably really busy. I needed some Wrath of Ashardalon parts and Wizards is ridiculously backed up right now.

I’ve had many different results when contacting FFG for missing parts. Most times they get the part out in a few weeks, but a couple times it took much longer. The last time I contacted them it took 2 months to get anything. I had to send two separate e-mails (one at month 1 and the second at month 2) and the second e-mail got a response. They apologized for missing my request, claimed it just got misplaced (or something). So you may have to send an e-mail and quote the case number you got, but do not reply to the e-mail you got, it will probably be ignored. Send your e-mail through the same system you sent your request, but give them at least 3 weeks before you send your first reminder.

The important thing is to remain polite and calm. They’re just doing a job. Also I think there might be some restructuring going on in FFG, as they’ve seemed odd behaviourally for a while, starting with a slowdown of articles then other mixed behaviour ending with layoffs and the end of a Star Wars product. Just an observation (no facts).

Thanks everyone for their help... I guess I will give it another few weeks and see what shakes out... Then send an email to see if anything is going on.

Wizards said they'd send me 3 missing parts in a few weeks. A few days later, I got a baggie in the mail with 9 parts I didn't need. I emailed them back and they said they'll send the correct pieces this time, in a few more weeks. It's a crazy time of year for toy and game makers. When I used to work in a LEGO store, anyone who was authorized to handle returns, knew they were going to spend basically their entire shift, for all of January, doing returns.

I actually got a reply today saying my request is being processed. Thanks everyone for your help..
