So I've been tinkering with a three ship Rebels list, focused around the I5 pilots of the faction. And have come up with a few ideas, which I would like to double-check with you lot. There is some theory crafting, but I will try to explain myself regarding the cards I picked.
List 1 (Hyperspace Total points: 195/200):
- Gina Moonsong [A/SF-01 B-wing]: Autoblasters; Stabilized S-Foils; Fire-Control System; Proton Torpedoes - Points: 70
- LukeSkywalker [T-65 X-wing]: R4 Astromech; Servomotor S-foils; Foresight - Points: 68
- ThaneKyrell [T-65 X-wing]: R4 Astromech; Servomotor S-foils; Snap Shot - Points: 57
The idea in here was to use the I5 of Gina and the potential of double tap, that comes with the Stabilized S-Foils. I have pulled the idea further, giving each pilot an ability to perform Bonus Attacks. I decided upon R4 Astromechs, because of the forced Stress transfer, that comes with Gina. I have yet to play this list, but having either Force or a Bonus Attack on the Y-Wing sounds like a useful thing. I have been reluctant about Ezra due to the stress requirements, but with the new B-Wing pilot he can be quite good.
List 2 (Extended Total points: 194/200):
- Gina Moonsong [A/SF-01 B-wing]: Heavy Laser Cannon; Autoblasters ; Stabilized S-Foils; Afterburners ; Fire-Control System; Predator - Points : 70
- NorraWexley [BTL-A4 Y-wing]: R4 Astromech; Ezra Bridger (Gunner); Afterburners ; Expert Handling; Dorsal Turret - Points : 68
- Thane Kyrell [T-65 X-wing] - R4 Astromech; Servomotor S-foils; Afterburners - Points : 56
This time the idea was to fly two beefy ships, that can each attack twice per activation, either shooting the same target, or in case of Nora two different, based on arcs. Thane is meant to shoot last and fish for juicy critical hits to debilitate the returning fire. Y-Wing is meant to be the main focus of Stress from Gina, to enable a reroll on the Bonus Attack. Gina is trying her hardest to aim her bullseye, having two rerolls on Heavy Laser Cannon and then being able to follow up with Autoblasters.
List 3 (Extended Total points: 195/200):
- Wedge Antilles [T-65 X-wing]: R2 Astromech; Servomotor S-foils; Afterburners ; Crack Shot - Points : 69
- Thane Kyrell [T-65 X-wing]: R2 Astromech; Servomotor S-foils; Afterburners ; Crack Shot - Points : 62
- Norra Wexley [BTL-A4 Y-wing]: R4 Astromech; Veteran Turret Gunner; Afterburners ; Expert Handling; Dorsal Turret - Points : 64
Again an attempt at making use of Nora's ability to Bonus Attack. This time with the potential to shoot at a ship, which already was stripped of its tokens. Thane is doing his thing, being mostly an I5, that can be a nuisance even at Range 3 and without mods, thanks to his pilot ability. This list is not struggling with the issue of stress from Gina, thus I picked the R2 Astromechs on the X-Wings, leaving Y-Wing with R4, due to Nora's desire to stick close. Although I am considering going for R3 on both X-Wings, just to enable that second Engagement Phase to be with full mods.
