Hey guys, just a quick question.

Will the hotshots and aces pack be legal for Milton Keynes System Open?

Anyone who knows would be greatly appreciated 😀

We find out on Tuesday, if they keep to the timing announced in an obscure corner of FB (known as the UK x-wing group).

Alec Thorne has asked everyone higher up and will post on FB (and possibly elsewhere) the answer.

The issue seems to be that they've tested the whole Wave but haven't checked the half-wave for possible imbalances so either all of Wave 6 will be legal (which means availability issues for people unable to get them in time), or the entire Wave will be illegal, or half the wave will be legal (just the re-releases and Obstacles and Devices packs).

Here's hoping everything is legal. A-Wings are so much better with the new pilots 😉

Clarification: Yes, Baron, Fireball, AND Card Packs will ALL be legal for UK and Fort Worth SOS events.

I'm so happy about that decision! It's the smart one for plenty reasons.

FFG have just announced that although Wave 6 may be legal for Milton Keynes it hasnt arrived at their warehouse so may not actually be available to purchase ahead of the System Open, making the legality issue a bit moot.

Where did they announce this? Discord again?

I think they sent a communication to stores, and one of them shared it to Facebook UK/Irl group.

If not there, be sure to check the official site's news page, Facebook, Twitter, private correspondence, smoke signals from FFG's headquarters, or one of the hundreds of other non-standardized routes FFG uses, just in case they posted it to one without updating any of the others.

I saw a reddit post linking to the organized play facebook page making Jan. 27th official.

Somebody made a good point thus supply issue for wave 6 in the UK may be Brexit. Jan 31st is Brexit date they won’t want trucks in supply chain from Europe in the UK on that date

If it’s not already in the country it may be weeks delayed, Brexit is likely to cause carnage for imports.

If the release date is the 31st, shouldn't the deliveries take place on the 30th or earlier?
