Christopher Tolkien has passed away today at the age of 95. Thank you for all the work you did for your father's legacy, and for us. I count him as one of my literary heroes.

Yeah I read this. It's a shame, but his dedication to keeping the creation of his father alive, is very much in line with the dedication of all those who strive and struggle to keep the legacy of Star Wars alive. Some do it better than others, but I believe that the dedication is certainly there on the part of who George Lucas has given his mantle to.

He goes to his father. And even in his mighty company he shall not now be ashamed. He published the history of Middle Earth. A glad day, and a golden sunset.

Rest in peace, Christopher son of John.
