Some huge firepower potential coming from these new B's with S-Foils. Gavin helps them further convert unblockable crits. Bandit for filler/blocking potential. Carnage.

I tried something like this pre-foils but with Blount as the fourth ship. I also tried it with three generic b-wings. I would imagine double-tapping the b-wings has got to be awesome but haven't flown it yet. Have you tried it out?

Not yet, I don't get to play much any more but I can waste time at work thinking about lists lol. Soon enough though I'll get the B's back to the table. They're my favorite Rebel ship, but I've been cheating on them with Strikers lately.

Some other threads have popped up with similar lists to this. Many pointed out you might get more value from Luke than from Gavin... but it can certainly work.

I guess that the more ships you field, the more value you get out ig Gavin's ability. Swarms is not an archetype that comes naturally to Rebels. I think it's an autoinclude in Epic though.

Don't necessarily need swarms just many shots to affect. And since the B's are not only shooting twice, but once with a cannon that becomes unlockable at times with crits, I think there is increased value there.

Crits in general shouldn't be taken lightly either. I flew a Darklighter Gang list with Biggs, Gavin, and a couple X-wings that was dealing crits out like candy. The advantage in that list was having Biggs to protect his cousin, though.

Gavin has to try to survive the initial joust. But he isn't exactly a pushover either being in an E-wing, while the B's are much easier targets. So it does make it difficult for an opponent's targeting priority to either go for the lynchpin in a 3 agility ship or drop juicier targets.
