Am I right that you can do nothing when the Basilisk rolls doubles ? You can't use fate . There is no spell that would save you. Armour doesn't work. No time for healing or St. Josephine ? No option?

But when you meet the Grim Reaper and roll 1, you can still use fate and reroll the die. Is that right?

Basilisk has rolled doubles in our game allready. But I had no idea that he kills your character completely. All lives! I've read it later here on the forum. He's such a rascal

Basilisk is why you maybe save those crappy Summon Bear etc. Spells for, even if your character has Str 7+ normally. But yeah, Basilisk rolls doubles, time to dig out a new character, with the Reaper, you can use Fate, but if that comes up 1...

We play Talisman Bloodbath mode and there's only two of us. So basilisk's doubles mean end of the game for us

I think, that Basilisk NEEDS to be reprintd in Forest expansion set then.

Because it's basilisk's roll. Not yours. You can't reroll your enemy's atack roll. Only yours.

Same with dice with death. You can't reroll death's dice. Only yours.
