Various Questions

By moony29, in Twilight Imperium 3rd Edition

1) An objective card that reads "I have X technology advances".....Are these technologies beyond your starting technologies?

2)There are various political and action cards that can, or potentially can revert a planet back to neutral. If there are leaders present on the planet affected, are they destroyed when reverted or is it even possible to revert if they are there?

3)Warfare II: does the high alert token have to leave with the fleet in order for the fleet to gain the bonus, or can the fleet effectively "launch" from the token? or both?

4)If two diplomats are present on the same planet, can they essentially "switch" on and off to prevent different invasions throughout multiple rounds?

Okay, I found the answer to question 3 in the faq. Can use it to launch from.

This includes your starting technologies.

For this one, I would go with page 34 of the rulebook: If a Leader is present on a planet whose ownership changes for any other reason than invasion, the Leader automatically escapes and may be placed on any friendly planet.

Not sure on this one, but it seems like that would be allowed within the rules.

4.) No.

From the rulebook, page 35:

"A planet protected by a diplomat may not be protected again by a Diplomat for the remainder of the round, or for the next game round."

Indeed. It doesn't matter if it's one diplomat or two; if it's protected by a diplomat, it cannot be protected again, period, for the remainder of that round or the next round.

Stacking Diplomats has no effect beyond a single diplomat.

Makes sense. I stand corrected.

To add-on:

The only leader whose ability stacks is the general.
