Is the CR90 undercosted?

So the Raider was reduced in points to match the CR90 yet still I feel the CR90 is too cheap. The ship ability is just amazing

Broadside Batteries: You can acquire locks and perform primary attacks at range 1-4.

It synergises so beautifully and easily with so many upgrades quite obviously Targeting Battery and Turbolaser Battery. I’m not sure the Raider has that or maybe I’m not seeing what it’s niche is.

The Raider is a jouster, flying best straight ahead at his target, pinpointing it in his bullseye arc and obliterating it with the additional die on primary and ordnance attacks.
This of course works best on larger targets, mainly huge ships. Ordnance also denies the defense bonus due to range which leaves a huge ship only with its Reinforce token.

In my experience so far, the Raider performs better than the CR90. But I like both costed as they are. Let's get in more games and revisit that discussion when we have a clearer picture emerging.

I've played the CR-90 a couple times myself, and played against the Raider a couple times. Hardly better than anecdotal levels of evidence, but evidence to be added to the tables to be sure. In my experience, the Raider is stronger on its own. That primary arc is *AMAZING*, and the upgrades available to it in the form of titles and crew and Ordnance Tubes and so on make it a beast. But that primary arc. Wow. Just wow. The CR-90 is good, and the Rebel support is amazing. Each is a nasty piece of work, especially when supported by another 250-300 points of the kind of power available to either faction. As a Scum main, I am jealous n the extreme of both of them. And as a Scum main, and in a vacuum, I would rather face a CR-90 than a Raider. The CR-90 feels juuuuust a little bit easier to outfly.

When it comes the the Raider I shall double my efforts!
