They don't have to be exact scale to be a fun/ cool piece of terrain. Maybe instead of the barge, if you do want something at the right scale for Legion, you do one of the skiffs that held an emplacement blaster or 5-6 people that flew around the barge.

You could always scale the barge to the fake Star Wars battlefront map

I made it two weeks into planning my bombed sandcrawler idea. Yes, it's length is just about the width (3 feet) of the game board in scale. I decided it was to impractical. So I moved onto new planet ideas instead of singular objects. My current project is Taris, from Kotor and Swtor. Look up Swtor concept art. Lots of inspiration in there.

Taris, before or after the bombardment?

Very much after. An overgrown landscape of crashed ships and ruined buildings.

Check out the dark eldar skiffs from 40k. From the looks of them, they are modeled after Jabbas skiff. kitbashing one of those with legion could be interesting.
