Barnes and Noble again releases the Fireball and Major Verog tie today....

Are you just trying to screw over game stores???

My local store still haven't gotten any Hyena bombers >_>
Wonder how long it will take them to get those ships.
FFG likely has no control over this tbh. Asmodee likely won't cut off Barnes and noble, and FFG can't change street dates that fast, not to mention different supply chains.
On the bright side it means we should get this soon
wait today?????
TODAY?
On a side note I guess this means they are officially due a month from now?
Are... are you really that mad at FFG when you’re still making the choice to buy them from B&N?
It’s definitely not FFG’s choice for B&N to put them out early, though it might be poor communication of street dates on either their end or B&N’s.
And they aren’t at the B&N I work at, either—though I don’t know anything about receiving/stocking product, as that’s not part of my job.
Fully Loaded, Hotshots & Aces and Never Tell Me The Odds were also on sale at my local B&N.

So much this.
Unless it's taxes, the money goes where you want it to go, and no where else.
If it is that important to you, then only buy at your FLGS.

Dangiiiit those I want.

I'm mad because LGSs already have a hard time competing with companies like Barnes and Noble and things like this make it even more difficult. I also know a lot of people that prefer to buy products from their FLGS but if they have to wait a month while their opponents are using these expansions they may just buy it from the big box store instead of waiting for that long.

Yeah. Like if those are truly out now, I might go make a trip...
I do want to support my FLGS, but I reeeeeeally want to get my hands on those new pilots!

My manager was stocking some toys when I left work a little while ago, but I didn’t ever see any new X-Wing.

Even if it's taxes, you vote for the person who decides where it goes.
I get concerns about lgs. I've already ordered and paid for two at my lgs. I didn't intend on getting one today but it might be a month before my store gets it. Every rep is important. I'm not going to cancel 1 of the orders I just have one more tie ba than I planned on purchasing.

That's a nice theory.
Unfortunately, I'm not a corporate CEO.
Lobbyists decide where it goes.
Ne'ertheless, I'm still in charge of the money in my wallet.
I was very surprised to see these at my B&N today. I got a Fireball, Vonreg, RZ-1, and the Obstacles and Devices packs. No hotshots at mine. I actually cancelled my FFG preorder because they’re cheaper with the 10% B&N discount and I had a coupon too!

Only because the person your fellows voted for puts lobbyists over voters. But theres a group that rather vocally against that...
I thought it was well established that Barnes and Noble breaks street dates/publication dates. I don't know what it is, maybe people who stock shelves sometimes miss it, but there hardly ever seems to be any recourse, so they just keep doing it. I don't know if managers are complicit in this, I just know that it's not just X-wing that comes out early at Barnes and Noble.

It’s called “trying desperately to compete with Amazon.”
And you posting this brings it to more people’s attention... just saying. Honestly not much point in buying them early anyways since they’re not even legal.

True these two ships are not legal.....yet. However if you're planning on using Vonreg's TIE or The Fireball in the upcoming Hyperspace season and want to practice before any tournament then I see no problem with buying them at B&N.

Fair.
EDIT: There's always a bigger fish.
