Quad Bs or something else? - Hyper

Just thrown this together, not sure if it would be viable?

was aiming for passive sensors to work with S foils and autoblasters, its an extra attack if nothing else?

I thought that, used the new points though, no longer legal in HS?

You are right, not HS legal.

Since you are not using Talents, you could downgrade the Bs to Blues and save 4 points, for a bid, or a FCS on one of them maybe?

Personally, I'm more fascinated by the Ion Cannon ones, even though they are 52 points. Three plus... A basic X-Wing? Jake Farrell? A Zeb Attack Shuttle in Extended? Ion can be quite nice, but needs some damage to back it up. S-Foil B-Wings get both Ion Control plus damage.

Also, I'm not sure on Autoblasters vs Tractor Beams. They're the same cost, and while tractor control isn't quite as strong anymore, reducing agility and pulling folks around can be really potent. If you bring someone a range-band closer, you've either taken away two of their defense dice, or brought your primary weapons up to 4 dice. That could be really strong.

I messed with Ten and Braylen with Ions and Dutch supporting to help with the locks, could then maybe field an A Wing

I will have a look, I did drop passive sensors originally and have selfless.

If building Passive Sensors, there's kind of nothing to do with the 4 points saved on the list. I'd rather have Init 3 than a single hull upgrade on one ship. If we're seeing a resurgence of generics (even temporarily as folks try out new lists), having Init 3 seems preferable to bid, IMHO. Against higher stuff, it wouldn't really matter either way.

Ditched the named ones for the Bs and came up with this.

BSV, could focus to a barrel roll, Dutch can help with locks and Arvel could help with blocks, but still be able to fire. Outmaneuver was there as just because, still got a 10pt bid

3 Blues with PS, S-Foils, and Ion Cannons, plus a generic Y with ICT and the upcoming Ion Bombs?
