First, do we know what the LAAT ability is? That can make a difference.
Next, what about something OTHER than the LAAT. I know everyone is grooving on that, but I want to think more on the Droid Gunship....and possibly other ships that can use the MM Pods. Cost will be a definite factor in things, but why would you want to take these instead of Barrage Rockets? The wider arc is one option and I can think of someone like "Double Edge" loving these things, but what about normal ships? Why make these? They seem odd.

The LAAT lets you reroll 2 dice of a nearby friendly non-turret attack spending a charge. Only works on firing or front arc, not sure. 2 charges recurring.

IMO FFG has seen that the First Order is clearly a faction that has not found its place yet as par as the others (maybe at the exception of the 5 SF and Kylo QD Tavson). With the 2 new ships (and I am really thrilled with theses new 2 beauties), I think the the First Order will come as an ace faction (comprable to the empire), but with different crews and ships. If the number of listst played in big tournaments is raised for the first order to arrive at par with the other factions, their goal will be accomplished.
On the other side, I don't know which faction will benefits from the fully loaded pack. It will depend is there will be the change of rules of today's stream and the costs of the bombs that will surely be revealed today as well.

I see them as an interesting option for Hyenas who want to get in close (hello, 404), or they could be an interesting option for TIE Bombers with Jendon support. If they are costed aggressively (and if Barrage Rockets potentially go up in cost) I could see them being a very interesting option.

I don't think 404 can equip double missile slot upgrades. The slots are the same as the standard Hyenas - at least, pre-points change.
I'm guessing the Illicits on the Xi are for Agent Terex (the pilot version will probably have the slot). He was a great character from the Poe Dameron comic, a former stormtrooper who became a crimelord before joining the First Order.

I don't think any consensus has been reached.
But the bottom line is, rules are not clear on multi-slot equipment and how they technically interact with rules that use symbols instead of words.

HMP pack comes with a new cannon that's 3 dice, range 2-3. Text unknown... but definitely interesting.

If [missile missile] upgrades are [missile] upgrades, they can be reloaded. The reload rules specify that [missile], [torpedo], and [device] upgrades can be reloaded, but not [missile missile] ones.
However, if [missile missile] upgrades are [missile] upgrades, they can also be equipped by Scyks and T70s. Those cards specifcy that a [missile] upgrade can be equipped.
Whether that was intentional or not is anyone's guess (except the designers') but mine would be that it's not, and they just didn't quite think through how they wrote those ship abilities (and if they'd thought it all the way through at the time they would probably have not bothered putting those abilities on the card at all, and instead put them in the app/PDF as a flexible slot of some sort, I'd probably have written it as '[hardpoint symbol but not the EPic one]:
But either way it doesn't change that it's true, until and unless FFG either changes the rules for Reload or erratas those cards/writes an extra ruling into the rules basically saying 'when an ability says you can equip a [type] upgrade, only upgrades of that type with a single upgrade symbol are eligible'.

You're looking for the Baktoid Prototype. That one has two slots for missiles, and the added bonus of not requiring a lock if a friendly ship has one on the target already.

Eh, they still might work okay together. Couple Baktoids, couple HMPs, and couple Vultures gets 6 locks on the board, four of which can be used for the Baktoid ability, and all 6 work for the HMP.

What Clone War stuff are you looking forward to?
My absolute top want is the Eta-2 Actis. After that I'd like to get the Droid Tri-fighter. I feel like there was something else but my mind is drawing a blank at the moment (for once I'm not including the Fortune and Glory because in this case I meant the ships that feel inevitable, and I'm not convinced on Hondo's happening).
As for reprints, I kinda want the Resistance Falcon. I know we have two other Falcons, but that's actually kinda why. I have the original Falcon and the Lando's Falcon. I'd love to have one with the painted engines like the Rebel Falcon reprint, but since I never had a Resistance Falcon or its cards, I figure it made sense to wait for it. I also wanted to wait for a new Black One, but that may not happen at this point, so I might just track down an old Heroes of the Resistance.
