It does if you get the locks via probe droids! :D

Yep! Spread your locks out if you need to and you have FCS on any target on the opponent list, number of gunships dependent.

Rex, Fives, and what looks like a double-slot clone trooper company!

I'm pretty sure it is Ghost Company, which is a division of the 212th Legion.

Pour one out for Odd Ball. I was hoping he would be in every clone ship, forever.

That makes sense. I'm still catching up on that show, but the colors definitely check out. Awesome. Stick those guys in and add a force user for maximum party-bus fun?

Where's my scum ships ?!?

Still being re-printed? You could ask the same of Empire and Rebels.

Besides, you already have more than any other faction. I guess they mostly suck now, but buffs should be on their way (tune in tomorrow).

Two things:

First, in cannon, for the LAAT/i do the side cannons fold in when the ship leaves the atmosphere?

Second, maybe DJ is a pilot for the Xi shuttle and that's why there's Illicit upgrades for that ship?

EDIT: I now realize that the ship that DJ flew to escape Canto Bight was not the Xi, that was something else, so now I don't know about it being DJ flying the Xi.

I believe they're just an optional configuration for the ship. I don't think they're on there during the episode with LAATs in space in The Clone Wars.

So....Multi Missile Pods? Not so sure on these. I like the wide 180 arc, but 2 red dice? At R1, there is no point in using these unless in Bullseye or wider arc.

Bullseye Arc will be fierce at 4 dice, but burn up 3 Charges?

What other ships will be able to use these? Some Hyenas. Tie Aggressors can. What else has 2 Missile slots? Tie Punishers? I can see the wider 180 arc being worth it....depending on cost.

What are people thinking? Maybe some ability of the Droid Gunship I can't see?

Thanks. That must be what confused me.

...but I didn't expect a whole announcement of transport ships.

What surprised me is that we got a whole wave of transport ships, particularly two used mostly in ground-attack, without really any new mechanics to go with them.

Curious!

Still, at least the Republic had no multi-crew ships before, and certainly the LAAT/i will be, so that's something. (And perhaps the Sep' gunship could take multiple Tactical Relays as something new?)

1. Equip on LAAT/i, it's in the card spread.

2. Set the bowtie turret out the sides for flankers and ship ability.

3. Use missiles as main gun and lean hard on that reload action.

Interesting thing I just noticed:

- Not identified as Wave 7

- No reprints announced

- Q2 estimated arrival

Is this a new normal, or do they just need a breather? Kinda nice they’re not over-committing and digging themselves into a hole.

Hope this painful delay-hangover period is over soon.

Well based off what one of the individuals who said he was let go from the Asmodee North America, among the large layoffs from FFG, we won't be seeing any reprints on ships this year and so all the waves will likely be shorter but with all new models. As such I'd expect that aside from the new rumored Imperial ship, likely the TIE Brute, we will mostly see stuff being released for the PT and ST factions this year.

I imagine anything from Clone Wars and the PT films are fair game to show up, the ST factions will be pulling mostly from Season 1 of Resistance with possible Episode 9 stuff nearer the end of 2020, and Scum possibly getting stuff from Resistance or the Razor Crest from The Mandalorian again near the end of 2020.

TIE/sa Bombers also have dual missile slots.

Might not be allowed.

Sorry, I mean as the main form of attack.

I was referring to reloading the missiles.

Gosh, what are these things gonna cost? I guess they're beefy enough I could see them peeking over 40? 4 can't be any worse than 4 Auzitucks, and those things have a 3-primary and Reinforce. 6 seems like it'd be a pretty tough game for your opponent?

My basic guess is 34, which is Y-Wing + Dorsal Turret (and also prevents the 6-per-list breakpoint). There's differences, but I think many of them come out in the wash, so that's my starting point.

Built-in Networked FCS is nice, but you can't ever spend the locks. Dial is OK, but no flips can be rough. Actions are probably a bit better than a Y-Wing, though. Will they have some "attack while disarmed" mechanic anywhere? The reload linked to calculate begins to suggest it, but who knows.

I can't see 40+ for the cost, due to only being 2 red dice.

Exactly. The FO suffers in that they have no good crew carriers who can be a support craft. Batwing is too expensive it has to pull double duty and be in the fight as well.

Xi is going to be closer to the Lambda I think in that while it can contribute, it’s main job is to be a crew carrier and do support things.

The FO has some good crew, too. They’re seen as non-valuable because of the innate cost of the Upsilon. Looking forward to seeing POT or Hux used on a cheaper carrier.

Fair enough. I don't actually do the math on most things, most-per-list was just a rough place to start.

I guess they start to hit a lot more like a Wookiee with the new missile upgrade that's designed around them and the LAAT, so that would have to be factored in to that 40-ish range anyways. And they have a blue turn . That's incredible with the full front arc. I could 3-turn for days with my Wookiees in 1e (haven't played them as much in 2.0 but they just feel different), and those are white.

I said it in another thread too. DJ should be Scum, NOT FO.

Doubt it, most likely just a defensive calculate to help you survive the turn you are reloading.

TBH I really don’t mind, as long as they give us a campaign pack eventually.

The very best take. 100% on board.

Just hope they can keep card packs and scenarios coming, and that reprints of super-hard-to-find ships like the Star wing etc. will happen sooner than 2021.

They might move to a more as-needed basis for rereleases instead of a more curated release schedule.

Honestly I’m fine with a slow release schedule as long as we know what to expect. As long as the game stays healthy we’ll get new players, and transparency is more important than aggressive promises for keeping them around.

Someone please @ me when the sharp eyed people discern the text.

Well, clearly FFG want us to play First Order for a bit.

With Regen/Token burn for anyone but silencers, a new I6 ace, and now a shuttle that if it has a second crew slot lets you take Hux whilst still having enough points to give him something worth co-ordinating, they look like they're going to be moving way up the ladder in the near future, especially if they get some (more) points breaks.
