Looking at the blurry LAAT/i cards Aayla seems to have a focus linked to a purple coordinate (plus a wall of text), the red card with troopers adds a rotate linked to a red focus, and Kit adds a purple evade (plus a wall of text). By my count there's still four cards in the set that haven't been revealed. Oh the hype-inducing possibilities.

Nobody wants to spend 60 points on a ride for Hux or Phasma. This looks like it could be in the lower 40s range. With two crew slots, it could make a nice ride for Snoke, or Phasma + Hux, or others. Some competition for the Upsilon is also nice because it could end up having the effect of reducing the Upsilon's cost by a little (though Tavson should stay expensive; Generics, Cardinal, Dormitz, and Stridan need to come down a fair amount).

I could definitely see myself taking a flight of TIE/fos with one of these ferrying Hux. He's way cheaper than AO and the nice blues on the FO mean you can get double mods super easy and clear the stress fast. Proud tradition could make the combo even better.

Think about it this way: If the Decimator were the only crew-carrier for Empire, how much would imperial crew get used in competitive lists? The Upsilon is in the price range of the Decimator. This will most likely be a fair bit cheaper than a Lambda. Honestly even 5x spam isn't scary with a 2-primary. Sub-40 points even seems reasonable, which is an incredibly exciting prospect.

How long till Empire gets a comparable Delta-class shuttle?

• The LAAT looks like it's meant to be a crew carrying missile boat, given the cards on the spread. I'm surprised by the turret, but it's a 2 dice attack, so not that scary, but it's certainly not toothless.
• Initiatives on the Xi shuttle are 0, 2, 3, 4, 5 and looks to be able to drop bombs--new ones--and debris. Kind of unexpected.
• Big surprise for me is that the droid gunship is that it's a small base. Looks like an all-rounder: Bomb & Missile carrier, 180° 2 dice arc. Not obviously OP but fair. Should be costed a little more than the Hyena but still relatively cheap as the Initiatives are 1-3 but have 8 health (5/3).

If Wookieepedia is to be believed, it's about the same length as an X-Wing. Then again, their "official" sizing is laughably horrible sometimes (looking at you, Nebulon-B-sized Hammerhead Corvette).

Somehow I always pictured them as these giant things, but I guess I was just wrong.

The 0 is a remote card for the two devices that aren’t the rigged cargo token.

I would have figured medium base, at least, given their size comparison to Vultures in Clone Wars and The Mandalorian.

When I followed the link I noticed Commander Malarus is the I5. If she has the same ability as her TIE/FO that could be really tanky on a shuttle.

I'm hoping that the just release a TIE Bomber pilot that acts as a shuttle that has different upgrade slots than the other pilots, similar to how the Hyena has several radically different loadouts based on the pilot. No need for a config then. Just have a low initiative pilot with a crew slot instead of any ordinance.

HMP Gunship isn't really an atmospheric ship anyway. Wookieepedia calls it an airspeeder because some source called it one once but we've seen them in space in The Clone Wars. Season 6, episode 1 The Unknown shows them attacking in space about the 11:20 mark.

EDIT: I just realized you might be talking about the LAAT/i. It's also been seen in space, though always looked a little different when done so. Main difference there is the bubble turrets on the side are gone, the bubble turrets at the front are replaced with giant flashlights for some reason, and the side doors stay closed. There could easily be other variants that have those components in some way.

There's never been, as far as I'm aware, an example of a snowspeeder in space, as cool as that would be.

Pretty sure the stats are 2-2-5-2. It's not that flimsy.

And man, that is a sweet dial for a shuttle. Together with 2 agi and a medium base it's definitely a solid ship.
