Upgrades, terrain (R2) and Operatives

By Rebel-Smuggler, in Star Wars: Legion

For anyone who didn’t notice, yesterday they updated the expected US release dates of the trooper upgrade packs, Luke and Vader operative packs, crashed escape pod and bunker to the 24th of this month. I’m assuming world wide will be simultaneous or just after (except in Germany where they’ll smugly show us painted trooper updates they already have)

Trying not be cranky, but I’m in believe when I see it mode these days.

yeah, i'll get excited when they email me about my preorders.

I checked with my hobby store yesterday and they did confirm the 24th.

The “Upcoming” tab now says Jan. 31. I’m hoping that’s false.

I have heard that the 24th date was "in error", but since some stores got that number it may be they get the stuff in stock and some people get their toys early. Such is the way of the world.

Asmodee uk have them on next weeks release list

My FLGS told us they will have them the 24th.

Nevermind, late to the party

FFG just sent me the shipping email for my Phase I Clone Upgrade packs, so *shrug emoji*? lol who knows when stuff is being released!

I pre-ordered playmats for Marvel Champions and those could be in a pocket dimension for all I know.

I kinda want FFG going forward to just give us the month, with no release "day", and then when we get it, we get it. I think it would really cut down on the disappointment we keep getting from delays...

But...then product could also be delayed another month....

I kinda want FFG going forward to just give us a release date 2 weeks in advance for all new expansions and then just make that date. That would really be a nice change in the rhythm they have had the past couple of years. No preview articles half a year in advance, with a release date of a certain quarter you know they will never make and the unit totally being ruined and analyzed to death before it is even physically on the table.
