So when you ionize a small ship it has to do the 1 speed blue maneuver and can only focus. But the b wing has the barrel roll linked to the focus. Can a b wing barrel roll after it focuses when its ionized?

No, you can only do the Focus.

Specifically, when a ship is Ionized (meaning it has a sufficient number of ion tokens assigned to it to trigger the effect), that ship may not perform any actions other than Focus. That restriction is only removed once the ship has fully completed its activation, after performing the blue-one-straight ion maneuver, and finishing its Perform Action step (again, still only permitted the single Focus action).

As a reminder, Ion tokens are not removed at the end of the round; they are normally only removed by performing the blue-one-straight Ion maneuver (though other effects can, at times, remove ion tokens). And for the record, the number of tokens needed to ionize a ship are:

• SMALL: 1 or more ion tokens
• MEDIUM: 2 or more ion tokens
• LARGE: 3 or more ion tokens
• HUGE: 6 or more ion tokens (huge ships follow the same Ion rules as smaller ships)
