Need pointes for creating a new scheme card.

By Slobosoy1, in Marvel Champions: The Card Game

I want a « on the run » scheme, but I don’t know how to do that properly.

Festival do the scheme as to be lower because the vilain flee and the hero(s) have less time to capture him. 6 seems right, then.

Or is the scheme is higher (I start with a idea for Rhino and I kind of think he is slow), so Maybe 8.

if it’s eight maybe the scheme have to enter the game with 1 threat on.

I also been pull between a normal threat by turn or a +1 if it’s the 8 choice, but that negate the fact Rhino is slow. So maybe not.

I also consider have the card giving breakin and Takin’ as side scheme for any level of play.

Finally I’m not sure I want this to be only for rhino. It could be use for both Klaw or Ultron as well. i think Breakin’ and Takin’ as well could be use by them. and even the wrecking crew when they will be a avaible.

Thanks for your assistance.

Let’s put it this way.

If you’re playing solo, a plausible series of events is: Villain schemes when you are in alter ego (scheme + average boost value) and then draws Advance and does the same thing over again.

If your villain schemes for 1, and the card range is 0-3, any scheme of 8 or less is, potentially, resolved in a single turn. Do you want to avoid that? If so, set a higher cap, especially if you want the villain to have a higher scheme value. Otherwise, you’re going to see a very high auto-loss rate, where nothing the player can do will prevent it, and that’s generally a negative play experience.

edit: This is why the schemes come with specific villain cards, because they need those SCH/ATK values to be balanced against the scheme caps on the various stage cards.

Thanks for your answer. As I’m not confident of what that should be, I think I will just use is regular scheme and hope that FFG will give card scheme for any vilain « on the run » somewhere sometime,

I work on this but I made a mistake with the scheme stat on the wrong card. I will correct that tomorrow.

Nice work on the design! What program did you use to make them?

Thanks I used PowerPoint.
