Poe Dameron & Black One

By Schu81, in X-Wing Rules Questions

Hello everyone!

I have got a question about the following combination.

Is the following possible?

1. I reveal a straight - 3 (blue) maneuver

2. BB-8 triggers, so I perform a barrel roll before executing the maneuver

3. I execute the straight - 3 maneuver

4. I perform a SLAM maneuver, which has to be the same speed as the first maneuver ( in this case speed 3 ). I choose a 3 Tallon- Roll (red).

5. Poe Dameron has now turned around and looks into the opposite direction than where he has originally started from. Now has to lose 1 <charge> from Black One and takes 1 ion token instead of a disarm token.

6. Poe would be able to take a second action now, but he can't since he already got stressed from the Tallon-Roll via Slam.

Is that correct?

yes. poe is even able to perform the action his pilot ability grants him before executing the maneuver, after using bb-8. this would let him focus, lock or boost as a red action, giving him a stress that he would loose from the blue manuever.

One of the best uses of Poe - especially when paired with Black One. Being able to go "not today, thank you!" and boost/roll/speed 3 straight/speed 3 anything-you-like-at-the-time pretty much guarantees escaping a kill box. Obviously you can get the same action economy with regards to stress and tokens from a generic BB, but only BB-8 gives you the same flexibility on repositioning.

Yes but you could of activated Poe after Stage 2. Then cleared the stress in stage 3.
