Utility arm attachment

By Zeiaxar, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Right, so question. Tell me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't I be able to wield three weapons potentially when I have the utility arm attachment on some armor, assuming each weapon only takes one hand? Now granted I know I can't necessarily use all three weapons in a single turn, but it does beg the question as to whether or not I can actually wield three weapons at once this way.

Thanks.

I think it's unresolved, same as with 4 armed species (or 6 armed like harch). Personally as a GM I would propably upgrade or at least give a setback to shooting with your utility arm, and wouldn't allow using more than 1 (or 2 if you are dual wielding pistols)

I agree that I cannot think of a place this is covered. I would create the 3rd arm using either a prosthetic limb attached to armor with an interface or by attaching a prosthetic arm to a player. The rules for duel wielding would apply.

The most important thing to me is setback dies for more limbs than standard for the species. This would apply to either scenario. Can a Human mind control 3 arms at once? I would give setback dice to this as the human brain was never designed for such a task and would be confused. With increased use the player could gain proficiency. A Besalisk would gain a setback die for a 5th arm.
