Im actually not suprised. Means people cant drop a SFO Starhawk at speed 0 and make enemy ships go Speed 0 before absolutely murdering them.

Ships cannot be deployed at Speed 0 but following rounds that could definitely get bad.

My Raddus concept for a Starhawk was: Drop out of hyperspace, Skilled First Officer to have the opponent move first, activate SH, Nav Command down to 0, do mega tractors.

But cant do that now. So its chill.

How does a skilled first officer make somebody move first?
Do you mean Strategic Advisor? Because heads up, a raddus dropped ship that has SA on the dropped ship can't SA because you can't choose that ship for activation...

You cannot SA as a first activation, but you can do a flotilla and SA your second activation prior to activating the dropped ship, correct?

Actually Cracken is not generally useless, only if you are also obstructed by a ship or physical obstacle.

As Dras points out: so if it's just Cracken, the attack is obstructed and no extra red die. But if the attack is obstructed by an Asteroid Field or another ship as well as Cracken or EWS or some other card effect, then the attack is NOT obstructed, and the extra red die is added.

Just out of curiosity, since my initial post got a lot of 'confused googly eye' reactions, why do people seem to think that Raddus is overpowered enough to deserve a nerf? HAS he been winning/top 4ing big Organized Play tournaments and I've just been missing it?

Someone please clarify for me, why can Raddus be deployed only near the flagship? Granted, it says "you", but how "you" is connected to the flagship?

When an upgrade card says "you" it refers to the ship that it's on. Otherwise Flight Controllers would be insanely overpowered.

So "distance 1-2 of you" means distance 1-2 of the flagship.

Ahhh... I totally forgot that an admiral card is placed on a ship. Clearly I'm slipping
