You have 50 points to buff a faction of your choice.

In this hypothetical balancing of points a 'buff' is defined as a points reduction to a pilot or upgrade.

50 points per faction. Your turn. Take the controls.

Max of 6pt buff per ship or upgrade. (Thanks Herowannabe)

haha. im going to suggest a max of 6pt buff per pilot or upgrade. having said that play 6 ghosts would be hilarious ;)

At first I was thinking the Jakku Gunrunner buff was unnecessary but they are changing tractors soon, so who knows? Not sure why you want to push 4-LOM any harder, he's already a pain in the butt. Face value though, I agree with a lot of there. Especially Lando's title. It should probably be free just so that poor ship can see some relevance.

Spend points to make Tavson and Kylo more expensive. Scorch is on thin ice too.

T-70 s-foils -6 points, to a cost of -6.

Heroic -6 points, to a cost of -5.

Generic T-70 pilots -6 points each.

Nein Nunb and Ello Asty -6 points each.

Now you get Ello, Nein and 3 Red Squadron Experts, all with Heroic, in 200 points.

Edit: I just realised I could also do Black One to a negative cost too to get that in and afford a few other upgrades too.

I thought of a better way to break a faction.

Techno Union Bomber -6 (to 20). Hyena Struts -6 (to -5). Energy Shell Charges -6 (to -1). Captain Sear -6 (to 33). Soulless One -6 (to 0). Impervium Plating -6 (to -2). Kraken -6 (to 4). DRK-1 Probes -6 (to -1). That's 6×8=48 total cost reduction. So:

Sear+Soulless+Impervium+Kraken is 33+0+(-2)+(4)= 35.

TUB+Struts+ESC+Proximity-mines is 20+(-5)+(-1)+6= 20.

TUB+Struts+ESC+DRK is 20+(-5)+(-1)+(-1)= 17.

Sear plus 7 TUBs (one with DRK, the other 6 with Proxies) is 35+(20×6)+17= 172. Plenty for Munitions Failsafe or Delayed Fuses on all the Hyenas and still have a massive bid.

-2: I would bring down trajectory simulator down to 8 (so a Cutlass Squadron Pilot with TS and proton bombs is 51 points).

-6: Then I would probably make the generic TIE/x1 pilots 2 points cheaper, as well as Zertik Storm.

-4: Make all named strikers 42 points, so Sabacc and Countdown -2 each.

-16: Defenders could come down a bit more, and the past point updates reduced them by a lot already, but I think the named pilots could come down another 3 or 4 points, so Rexler Brath and Countess Ryas to 78 and Vessery to 80. Onyx to 72 and Delta to 67.

-4: Death Troopers, since 2 crew slots and only Admiral Sloane synergizes, so you need at least a Deci to bring both. ISB slicers aren't really good either since the only non-red jam is on the reaper, which is too fast to jam consistently.

We probably should bring down the crews that are not faction specific down 2 or 3 points across the board (maybe leave out perceptive co-pilot). There is such a high competition at the crew slot that many of them could be 0 points and would not be played a lot.

This is probably what I would try fixing with points, though Aggressors are obviously pretty bad currently, redundancy is what is making them bad, we need new upgrades to fix it. I think the same is true for the Reaper, which is just a bad Lambda Shuttle alternative. Other ships that aren't used currently should come back with I5 I6 nerfs.

Soulless one, impervium, energy shells, separatist bomber, TA-175, prox mines, landing struts, shield upgrade down by six each gets you this with like 10 points to spare:

Alternatively, you can get passive proton torp blade veterans to 25 points under your scheme.

• Swoop, Axe, Kickback, and Oddball -2 each

• Seventh Squad Veteran, Jag -1 each

• Amidala -1

• Handmaidens -2

• P4-P44 -3

• Matchstick, Oddball -2 each

• Chandelor Palpatine -2

Bonus content

• all single slot missiles -1 each

• Electro-proton bomb -4

4-LOM is costly. justifiably so i guess but when scum was new he saw way more play and was my favorite pilot. had him in a squad with kavil, boba and gunrunner. he did some work. was always a priority target and took the heat of my other ships in the early rounds. now with scum best ships costed the way they are its very hard to play a 4 ship squad wout stripping the upgrades right down. in comparison rebels can throw together a tanky 4 ship list and has the luxury of running a few significant upgrades or some interchangable pilots.

I play a LOT of 4-LOM 4 ship lists. It's very doable(and very good).

They're all 1-0. Played once, won once. I've got more iterations(including some with Quinn Jast, and some with Talonbane), they're all 1-0. Opponents have been local imperial veterans testing tournament lists(triple aces, jendon 2x inq soontir, vader echo deathrain, etc).

It's good as long as you have, or face, ships that act after it. Including at the same initiative step. (The Swarm Tactics on Torani Kulda in one of the lists is so Seevor can shoot before Torani). Goes well with 4-LOM thanks to shared initiative.

The value drops significantly otherwise(only matters for unspent locks, or when Seevor is getting shot at).
