From the previews I assume that the special obstacle rules included with the Never Tell Me the Odds expansion are for standard 200 point matches. However, what are your thoughts on combining these new rules with Epic Battles?

The number of obstacles increases with the area of play (doubled for 6x3) - therefore I would just try that or leave it as it for 3x3.

You could also allow two cards for 6x3 or one card and one set of the standard 6 obstacles.

So you have 12 obstacles in Epic? Never knew.

Not everytime since epic scenarios are played on 3x3 and 6x3. The number of obstacles only depends on the map size:

6 for 3x3

12 for 6x3
