sorry if this has already been covered but I couldn’t see it.

we had some epic games at the weekend and this rules query came up:

if a wing leader overlaps another ship in the activation phase and therefore skips it’s perform action step as usual once the wing mates form up do they also skip their Perform action step?

I have looked in the rulebook and rules reference but couldn’t see an answer.

No.

As long as the wingmates can be placed using the tool they count as having fully executed their maneuver and proceed to the perform action step.
