Just looking for some clarification on how it works. If I use Strategic can I move the objective token to distance 1 of any of my units or does it have to remain at distance 1 of the triggering VCX-100?

It would still need to be at distance 1 of the triggering VCX. So the max you can move a token is about twice distance 1 + the width of the squad base (basically moving the token from one side of the VCX to the exact opposite side).
