Should ARC be a separate unit or the Strike Team of the commandoes?
I mean it would kinda makes sense for ARC to be the Demo/Sniper team.
I also understand them to be a separate operative unit too.
How do you see a CIS or GAR strike team working?

Or heck...do we even need a mirror for strike teams?
Separate unit. Game lay considerations aside, the models will be completely different. I expect the commandos to have a configurable rifle as well as at least two, maybe more heavy weapons options. Probably a 3+1 as unit as well as a strike team. Their Deecees should have regular, sniper and anti-armor configurations, plus probably some sort of charge, a Verpine slug thrower, and maybe a Trado conc rifle.
ARCs make the most sense as Operatives I think. Apart from a handful of very high-value missions they operate alone. We might see them as another Special Forces option, like the Mullinist Ten team, but I would hope not.
The CIS SF/Strike Team is probably going to be Commando droids.
I see republic commandos as death trooper+ level unit with config weapons, multiple customisation option. 4 minis total but 2 wounds each. I could see allowing 1 to be specialist i.e. choose from medic, heavy anti armour or demolitions to reflect their general diversity but not equip them with everything each game.
ARC as my predecessors said should work as operatives.
As for seps, I don's see a point of strike team duplicate but commando like unit yes :)
So how do yall think GAR and CIS snipers are going to come into play???

We did see a unit of scout clones in Revenge of the Sith so that could be the Republic's snipers. Not sure about the CIS but probably from their droid commandos
There's a canonical shot from TCW of the BX-commando droids operating in a two-man sniper team, so they're a shoe-in for that role (though I kind of don't want them to have a detonator model, I'd prefer if they used a vibrosword or their energy shield things). CIS melee-focused Special Forces will almost assuredly be Magnaguards.
Commandos shouldn't use the strike team model, they're better off like Death Troopers - very elite heavy infantry who can use the Config to switch between the Anti-Armor Config (Blast, Impact, R1-2?) and Sniper Config, maybe include their repulsor gauntlets from BFII as a new Scatter weapon. The more typical role akin to Scout Troopers and Rebel Commandos can be taken up by the ARF (Advanced Recon Force) troopers who have a similar role to Scout Troopers. Clone Paratroopers also supposedly had snipers. ARCs are probably best suited to a role as a generic Operative/Commander, functioning a bit like a stripped down Captain Rex who could also be added to a unit.
