So, I'm confused by the rule for the "Low Fuel" condition card. The general rule is clear - if you don't have a base in the area, when you either assault or defend, you get the "Low Fuel" condition card. However, I'm having trouble with the second part of the exception:
If the target location is in an area adjacent to an area with a friendly base [that seems clear], and the border location on that shared division line is friendly, that fleet does not gain this card.
Can someone help me parse the meaning of the second part? An example: If we have a base in area I (let's say at Dantooine) and then I choose to assault a location in area II (let's say Yavin), I will gain the "Low Fuel" condition card unless what? We have at least a presence marker in Concord Dawn?
Is Concord Dawn considered to be in both area I and II if you assault it (meaning you have to have bases in both areas I and II to not get the "Low Fuel" condition?
For the "Low Supplies" condition card, the rule states that:
If all border locations in the target location's area are enemy occupied, the defending fleet gains the "Low Supplies" condition card.
I just want to make sure I understand this plus the "Low Fuel" rule. If we have a base in area I but not area II, and we have presence in both Concord Dawn and Lothal, if I were to assault a system in area II (say Yavin), I would not gain the "Low Fuel" card - correct? And the defender would gain the "Low Supplies" card - correct?
Thanks!
