Alternate Scenarios

By ZebioLizard2, in Marvel Champions: The Card Game

Thinking about how the Green Goblin set has two different scenarios for him. I'd think down the line it'd be great if we could get alternate scenarios for the base game characters. Would help spice things up as they'd get new cards and other things to enrich the base core experience outside of just the modular sets.

I'd like that too. Kind of a core set villain expansion. It would also be really cool if, after several villains have come out (so maybe a year or so) they create crossover packs, so if you have certain villains, you can do basically a Wrecking Crew type of thing, but with what were individual villains.

This crossover idea is super cool. I hope they release all of the Sinister 6 as individual baddies, but the last one includes an option and new cards to support running them all as a group. They could even do a release that just has new sets for previously released villains (basically mini decks for each like what the wrecking crew is gonna have), and allows you to build your own team of villains to face. These idea's might just be a pipe dream, but they sound pretty neat from where I sit.

Sounds like how Sentinels of the Multiverse made an entire Villains mode of their villains that work together. It was a really good idea.

I wonder of thats even possible? Maybe it depends on how they go in linking the story mode boxes together rules wise?

I think mainly the designers probably feel thats why they iserted the modular encounter sets in the design space to give the maximum replayablity into the game for the scenarios from the beginning.
