Looking back at the news for Marvel Champions, even though we knew Thor was coming already (due to comments from the creators and even the December schedule for FFG Live published on Nov 27th), his official announcement didn't happen until Dec 5th. Anybody think we'll see the announcement on the 6th or 7th of January? Do you think they'll just tease us with "hero reveal" or actually include the name in the announcement for the January FFG Live schedule? Will the first video following their season break (Jan 9th) be Marvel Champions-centered? I'm thinking they'll wait until the official reveal to name the hero. I'm hoping they'll do the reveal on the 6th or 7th or even the 9th in conjunction with the FFG Live video.

I don’t care to speculate on the when, considering how short this game’s life has been so far, and the resulting lack of data—not to mention the amount of delays so far. That said, I doubt they’d spoil any names on the FFG Live schedule. We’re likely stuck waiting for the livestream itself or an announcement article.

If we get Champions content on FFG Live, I wouldn’t be shocked if it were Wrecking Crew they played with? But I certainly wouldn’t mind another hero announcement/playthrough.

The stream/preview article was fairly consistently on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, tho Thor broke the streak with it being on first Thursday in December.

Regardless, the preview for the new Justice hero should be on a Tuesday or Thursday in the first half of January.

Yeah, I expect we’ll see an article and stream announcing the next hero by the middle of January.

They seem to be announcing stuff around 3 months ahead of release. So sometime in January?

I'd guess an announcement on the next hero would be coming mid to late January, or perhaps early to mid February. That would leave plenty of time for people to pre-order before the actual release. I have a terrible track record with these kinds of predictions, but that has never stopped me from making baseless guesses on all manner of things.

I'm assuming three months before the release, which would put the reveal for the April hero in January. The announcement for Cap was in September and Ms. Marvel was October. Given that Cap was supposed to release in December and Ms. Marvel was supposed to be January, that puts it on the three months. Then Thor's official announcement was earlier this month, so three months before his release in March. Both Green Goblin and Wrecking Crew were also announced three months before their original release dates.
