Hey guys,
So common logic with most card games is to have max number of copies of a card in a deck for consistency.
In this game I find myself going for 2 ofs in many cases over 3 ofs. Anyone else finding this too?

Edited by TarliynReally depends on the card and the deck. There are some cards that I outright avoid putting in a deck because that particular hero happens to have something that does the same thing better. Other times (like any deck solo vs Rhino) I’ll throw three Emergencies in a deck that otherwise might only need one or two or even none.
Sooo many factors, and as of yet there aren’t a ton of deckbuilding decisions overall. The biggest question I find myself facing is whether to keep it tight (close to 40) and make fuller use of my hero’s cards, or fill it up to 50 so that cycling (or milling, in Ultron’s case) take that much longer.
For about a month I stuck with the 40 card consistency logic. Recently however I have started going with around 46 to 48 even with Black Panther and Iron Man. I go through my deck so fast and really the only time I have a "dead hand" is either when I have all resource cards with Black Panther or a bunch of cards dependent on dealing with minions and there being no minions to be had. I actually always take at least one of each basic and usually 2 each of Mansions/Helicarriers. I don't really even like Emergency or Tenacity but Emergency has kept me from losing more than once, and Tenacity has won me the game before as well. It just comes down to having more options.
So to really answer your question, I prefer 2 each of more cards of different card title than 3 each of less, again- options.
Yeah I am with you on 2 cards over 3. I have still stuck to 40 card decks though as a general rule.
I also agree with what you saidnabout tenacity. In a situation where a heroes stat line is doing the heavy lifting (like with she-hulk) tenacity can pull its weight
Tenacity might get some more play with the strength resource card they will have like they do for energy and mental.

I predict that Ms Marvel will benefit from Tenacity and the Physical resource card (Enhanced Strength ?)
