I would do apts on Vic 1. Because it could be dead after it’s first up close shot. May as well punch thru a crit while you could.

External Racks is made for one-shot situations. Two black dice with OE will do more damage on average than APT. The downside is that you only use it once.

For 73 pointa you could get a Demolisher instead of Vic1. I mean... That's the problem with the 7th fleet... Why not include Demo? After that, you won't have enough points 😕

Demo is not compatible with 7th fleet.

That's the point. For 73 points the Demo is way better than any Vic or Gladiator with 7th fleet. That's why you can't optimally fly a 7th fleet with 3 ships.

First in most cases. I think Solar Corona is the best blue objective (except maybe Hyperspace Migration, if I'm not facing an SSD) but it's not awesome.

Are you suggesting keeping 7th fleet on the other Vics or scrapping 7th fleet altogether?

I have a lot of experience playing Demo and most games it dies. Hence my hesitancy to include it. I'm not saying it's a bad Ship, just that I'm not good with it.

For competetive play, I'd scrap it. Personally I love thematic fleets, but you sacrifice the efficiency for fluff.

There are two things I did by accident:

1. I didn't realize immediately what my bid was, I thought it was 398 when I first saw it in Warlords.

2. I apparently created a thematic fleet! I honestly wasn't even trying to do that, I was just trying to make a fleet that combines the damage-reducing power of EST (which I have used before on a HMC80) with 7th fleet Star Destroyer (which seems better in three, at least in theory). Jerry for turning, Engineering commands for further tanking.
