Hello I am keen to own this game and some expansions but here in Sweden there are no copies. The best I can find is on amazon.co.uk and the shipping costs just as much as the game so that is out. What I would like to know is if anybody here knows where I could buy this game in Sweden and/or any companies that could ship the game to me without charging me the game cost again.
If there are no answers to this then when is it being reprinted?

Did you check CoolStuffInc.com? That's where I got my stuff, but I'm in the USA. I'm not sure what their international rates are but it's worth a shot.
Given how large and how heavy the box is, I suspect shipping costs from anywhere are going to be exorbitant. Certainly if shipping from the UK costs as much as the game itself, I don't see shipping from the States being any cheaper. (Sadly, because there are plenty of copies floating around Ottawa.)
You could check Austrailian webstores, I don't know if they'd be cheaper going predominantly over land (I know nothing about shipping costs, btw, I'm just speculating.)
As for a reprint, the base game is scheduled for a reprint on the Upcoming page, but looks like it might be a while. It was put in the queue on 3/16/2010. So it's planned, but it might be a while before it shows up on shelves. The TI3 expansion (Shattered Empires) is also at the same stage in the queue and has been since 11/2009. Keep in mind this may just be the American print schedule. If various places in the EU have been out of stock for a while then they might be planning a more imminent reprint on your side of the pond. =)

otherwise you could check http://www.gamemaniacs.se/ the last time I was in their store located in Lidköping they had a copie of Descent. and just because they don't have it online in game maniacs dosn't mean they won't have it in their stores.

Any chance you could ask the stores in Sweden if they could order you a copy?
You could check out www.magierspiele.de. They are having the English edition in stock, but shipping to Sweden would also be quite expansive. On the other hand, the game itself costs less than 60 €.
And have you tried amazon or ebay yet?

A cut and paste from my email with customer support who replied very quickly to my email (thanks!) said that it will be reprinted and in the stores at the end of June/start of July so this is great! I can wait patiently for this at least. Maybe, heh
