...no, but you CAN pair Debris Gambit up with the Closed S-Foil BR to Evade linked action. I think they even clarified this in an FAQ update that had us scratching our heads and wondering why they were saying that and trying to figure out who even could do this.

TIE Aggressors and Attack Shuttles have loved this for a long time. Sabine was genuinely good till they nerfed her Mandalorian helmet off. It turns any red evade white, including linked ones.

kallus was a 4

Also possible with the Torrent though not commonly used.

I am so freaking impressed and happy with the B-Wing config card. Hats off to the devs on this one.

Sabine is a touch expensive... but still a lot of fun with composure. I also enjoy pairing her with Ezra :D 2 I3 Shuttles with effectively focus/evade every turn? why not.

What product are these new pilots coming in?

Sorry I'm posting so much I'm just absolutely ecstatic to see thematic justice for the B-Wing. It was the one thing I felt most let down by in the 2.0 release, and I had hoped against hope that they'd eventually get a config to help the weapons loadouts.

When I saw it was foils I was afraid it would be primary-based or just for extra maneuverability, which was more anti-thematic.

Consider me fully blown away by what they did here. And the mechanic of spending the lock does so much to balance it and add thematics. And that you usually won't want to close them up at all. It's all just so perfect. They finally did it right. They nailed it. I'm so happy.

But my Squints!!!

Still waiting for thematic justice. . .😥

hot shot pilots pack

Leia being a better pilot than Chewie bother anyone else?

I think they're right on thematically! Well, they need another talent slot, but that's easy to fix.

They just need a point or two off (except Soontir: Two talents says he goes up to 55).

Pilot Skill ≠ Initiative

The devs can do whatever they want with that. Chewie's definitely a better pilot, but his reflexes aren't exactly lightning-speed...

Attack shuttle Sabine has been using it since day 1.

Phasma is exactly what I'd hoped she'd be, and she has more synergy with other ships than I'd thought. Not only can she remove shields off of Fanatical ships, but she can also help Rush to activate I6 and trigger Quickdraw's and Tavson's abilities. Also technically she can trigger Avenger by getting a friendly ship blown up, but that's far more situational.

On the Scum side of things, I like what we're getting. G4R-G0R and Nom Lumb being I0/I1 indicates low costs, low costs mean easier time fitting in swarm lists. Plus it also means their chassis are being looked at and so hopefully Scum will soon have a lot of pilots pulled out of the junk heap to play with. And after a few games of Epic, I'm wanting Bossk a lot more as I've been wanting an I4 Z-95 wingleader but N'dru's negative synergy with any kind of wingmates discourages me from flying him.

YASB has been updated with the new info. Not going to update stuff until I can discern text for the most part. Not terribly important since we dont have the points, but thought i'd leave that here.

While you're around, the Requiem title for the Gozanti seems to have a mistake. The card has no mention of changing energy or hull, but YASB adds one and subtracts the other?

I'm really thinking we'll get a good-sized cut to the M3-A and some errata to the Jumpmaster's pilot cards or title. It could be as simple as making the linked rotate white, adding a white rotate, making it a bow tie turret, or removing the requirement of the title to be front arc only.

Would a configuration work? It's a bit down the road of upgrade bloat like 1.0, but occasionally it would be an okay thing to do. This ship needs it I'd say.

If it does something weird like "In the beginning of the end phase, you may spend one red token to perform a [Rotate] action" I guess that would make thematic sense.

But the whole problem with the ship is just firepower. The gun never points where you want, and even if it does it's just 2 dice. It might as well be a front-arc ship. But if they make it too cheap, it's too much health and becomes an NPE.

It either needs more firepower or easier ways to get better coverage. But don't touch that dial! I love the new dial.

Are there any news or spoilers for the empire?

Uh so if Im remembering correctly the I5 Fireball dude has something to do with stress right because:

I5 Fireball dude+ R1-J5 is effectively an 8 health Fireball

Did they say anything about tractor mechanics? The Discord channel said that they would talk about it.

They said there will be another change that considers player agency a little more coming up in January along with the points change.

I'm guessing it might require you to spend the tractor tokens to move the ship, which would be far more fair IMO and would make Sun Fac (dare I say it...) almost wholesome. After all, choosing between major firepower and positioning is what this game is all about, isn't it?

On the plus side, it sounds like Tractor Beam could be going down to 1 point, which is awfully tasty...

That was the solution that I thought up, so hopefully that's it. It makes self-tractoring (as Heaver utilized) stronger, but my agency isn't destroyed by the Nantex now.

I know everyone is amped up for the B-Wing foils and some of the new pilots, but I actually think the Fireball might be loads of fun. They’ve got a fun set of tools and abilities from what we’ve seen.

So what does Deplete do?
