If Marksmen turns an Aim token into two guaranteed crits (which I HIGHLY doubt, but until we see the rules who knows) then this becomes two damage not stopped by cover or dodges, and requires a perfect defensive roll (without Impervious) to block both damage.

Marksman probably increases the value of 1 die. blank to hit, hit to crit. this is why 2 aim tokens is very strong because each one is effectively a crit. For cassian, Recon intel allows him to move and gain 2 aim tokens due to tactical 1 (+ tactical 1 from offensive push) he can then attack, most likely get 2 hits, and use the two aims to change them to crits. he can then recover Offensive push to use the tactic on another round. This assumes marksman does what I said earlier, which would make it good, if it only gives you hits and not crits, it will be pretty garbage imo

I would think you're right in how Marksman works. If so, it will help bypass Guardian as well if you can get hits on the roll and push them to crits. I usually run Leia with Esteemed Leader so Iden could be a hard counter with Pierce and High Velocity. Nowhere to hide or dodge.

He only rolls two dice. It would take at least 3 turns to kill her, and that's IF the other person leaves her in the open that long AND doesn't roll any double blocks.

Nope. Mentioned it before, as much as I do like Janina Gavankar, the TIE helmet is too iconic for me. I want actual TIE pilots (for no good in game reason) as I like their look. This is the closes I will get.

plus, you can use the Unarmored head for a rebel. 😜

Hey, at least you know what you want to do.

Thats assuming no damage from other sources. Besides having the board control of forcing your opponent to keep Leia out of LOS of Iden/Cassian or risk a high chance of 2 damage being placed can be very worthwhile. It would also serve as a pretty hard counter to Detachments and Strike Teams. Not to mention if Marksman allows for die results to end up as crits, then they also get around Armour.

Sure, of course it's worthwhile. My comment was in response to his assertion that Cassian was a "hard counter" to Leia.

So, is anyone else stressed by the fact that there are SIX possible ways to model Versio? Because I'm having a really hard time deciding which version I'm going to go with.

Tie helmet and sniper rifle for me. I don’t care about the character so for me it’s iconic pilot uniform plus the config I know I’m taking a lot of the time.

Now, Cassian and especially K2 will be another matter.

*Sigh* I wish I had your decisiveness. Right now, I'm leaning towards the TIE helmet with her pulse rifle, but I also believe that having her face show would be really cool.

As for Cassian and K2, I'm exclusively play the Empire right now so that's not a problem for me.

Well, you can probably magnetize the head (says the person that magnetized the arms of 40k Harlequins for Kill Team) 😛 .

I try to have enough for a game where I’m providing all the toys. I have my “core” army elements for both factions and am now in the business of just buying heroes when they come up and I want them. I’m not buying all the things for any faction. That helps.

Ive got what I need to have very interesting GCW games. Now it’s more about the heroes and the unique sculpts - I’m liable to grab the rebel heavy because aliens but not as likely to grab the stormies when they’re not quite unique enough looking.

Good idea! Also, that's some hardcore dedication for 40K. :)

I hear you, but for me, the whole point of this game is to get a legion of Stormtroopers. Not saying you're wrong, I'm just a buckethead fan.

Eh, it was only Kill team, so just like 8 bodies. Still, more than I care to repeat anytime soon.
