She Hulk - spilt personality

By Daft Blazer, in Marvel Champions: The Card Game

Split personality, switch your form and draw up to your printed hand size. So if I play this card, it costs me 4 cards, and if I switch from alter ego to hero and I’m currently holding 2 cards, I only draw 2 cards, is that right? Seems a bit underwhelming. Slightly better going the other way I suppose.

The way I use it is start in Alter-ego, play my cards (except SP and what I need to pay for it) flip to hero to deal 2 and attack for 3, then play SP to flip and draw back to 6 and maximize what I can play. Then I'll be able to "I object" and draw back to 6 for the following turn. Even better if Nick Fury is in hand or drawn. I usually will hold SP in hand if I can't play it the turn I draw it. It's a very cool way to get a big boost of board control.

ideally, at the start of a game, all heroes are focused on permanent economy boosts through Helicarrier, Avenger’s mansion, and in She Hulk’s case, Focused Rage. All these economy things combined make Split Personality a free identity flip that doesn’t count towards the total number of identity flips per turn... which is great for any character but is especially great in She Hulk as it refills her hand if it’s the last thing she plays. Should she save her OPT identity flip until after she plays Split Personality, she essentially gets another turn. In M:TG terms, its Time Walk. It’s easily her best card.

Thanks - I’m still getting used to playing she hulk.
