Title gives it away anyway, but Reach pbp spoilers.
Away from books. I believe ending a formation is an incidental, but could it be out-of-turn? If not, would a destiny flip do the trick? If it matters, is regarding ending an npc squadron formation.

The title is kinda a giveaway, anyway. I’ll take your opinion.
It says "The leader may choose to disband the squad as an Incidental." Given how it's worded, I'd guess that it isn't an out-of-turn incidental. It also says that "This can also happen for a number of narrative reasons, at GM discretion."

Thanks. The T-47s are down from 5 to 2.5, so I think that might be narrative reason to break formation. I’ll flip a dp for good measure anyway.
