Yep which is what bothers me errataing two cards on rules section of a forum and expecting people to see it and everyone going to event to check it seems odd to me, I guess they will add it to Faq/Errata at some point, but why not do that now?

To be honest I didn't know there was something called FAQ til I started to play competitive.

It is official thread of rules call official in the official forum.

But they'll add it to the next FAQ for sure. This way you have a piece of rulings beforehand.

Official statements in an official thread - it’s as official as it can be .

In fact, it’s what that very thread is there for.

Any other medium has its problems - peopke don’t have fb or Twitter for announcements, an actual faq seemingly needs LFL approval...

And if you’re not playing competitively, who cares... but if you are playing competitivrly, the regulations require you to be familiar with documentation and rulings. Or at least they did.
