My friends are really excited about skirmish and so I need to find units to play.

I love death troopers and would love to incorporate them. Any suggestions for a good build to start with as I start to plan my purchases?

If you wanna play Death Troopers, you need to buy Krennic as your commander, since he has Entourage: Death Troopers.

Also, Krennic and DTs mean you can build a list focusing on suppression. So Shoretroopers and Mortar makes sense also.

You could build a gun line list like that:

++ Standard (Galactic Empire) [500 Points] ++

+ Commander +

•Director Orson Krennic [113 Points]: Aggressive Tactics, Electrobinoculars, Strict Orders

+ Corps +

DF-90 Mortar Trooper [41 Points]: Comms Relay

DF-90 Mortar Trooper [41 Points]: Comms Relay

Shoretroopers [88 Points]: T-21B Trooper, Targeting Scopes

Shoretroopers [88 Points]: T-21B Trooper, Targeting Scopes

+ Special Forces +

Imperial Death Troopers [129 Points]: Comms Relay, DLT-19D Trooper, E-11D, Hunter

++ Total: [500 Points] ++

And all you need to buy is Krennic, 2x Shore troopers and one Death Trooper Expansion.

You can also use a second DT instead of one shore trooper and mortar, but I'd prefer this list.
